OUR LEADERSHIP
In 1991, with Steve Wilcox’s experience in human psychology, ethnographic research, and product development, Design Science became one of the first human factors consultancies to specialize in healthcare.
Li Yue brings to DS his experience in industrial systems engineering, industrial design, and fine arts, expanding our capabilities of inventing proprietary technologies to meet specific client needs.
Katie Hansbro joined Design Science in 2014, bringing her experience in product development and leadership at Baxter. Her systems engineering background and business acumen allow her to right-size your project to meet the needs of your users and business.
Sara Waxberg McNew became CSO in 2019, with industry experience in user-centered design leadership at multiple healthcare companies. She brings her expertise in leading cross-functional teams, managing human factors consultants, interacting with regulatory agencies, and executing on corporate level strategic plans for human factors.
