Design Science Implements International Trainee Program
by Christina S
Ever since its foundation almost 30 years ago, Design Science has been conducting studies and research around the word—testing devices, eliciting user needs, and assessing procedures in various countries and cultures to create safer and more efficient medical solutions.
This global focus has always been matched by the international makeup of our team. Just recently, Design Science has employed talented analysts, designers, and researchers from China, France, Germany, India, Mexico, South Africa, and the United States.
To further this creative exchange of ideas and talent, Design Science has established a new International Trainee Program.
With this program, we aim to continue and intensify our goal of giving motivated young professionals* a chance to gain international experience at our Philadelphia head office, while being a part of our team and our culture.
With this program, we will support the trainees with the formalities and practicalities of moving to a new country. During their 6-month stay, participants will be exposed to various projects, be part of different teams, and be trained on Design Science’s current best practices, all while being immersed in a culture that thrives on an open exchange of people and ideas.
Upon completion of the International Trainee Program, participants may be offered an opportunity to continue their personal and professional development by becoming a permanent part of our team at Design Science’s upcoming new Germany office.
